Along with a group of over 160 individuals, Coastal’s director of business relations, Creston Leifried, represented the Florida Apartment Association on Florida’s capitol hill. Creston and the others were there to meet with legislators regarding pending legislation that will have an impact, positively or negatively, on Florida’s apartment industry.

After meeting with the FAA lobbyist, Creston and the others broke into smaller groups of six in order to tackle meetings with individual state house representatives and/or senators. Some of the politicians they met with during this time was Senator Lee Constantine, Representative Darren Soto, Representative John Tobia, and Representative Dwayne Taylor.
